Subterranean Solutions uses the newest and most innovative equipment available for the collection of underground scan data and can determine the best system and procedure for your job specific conditions.

Our primary surveying instrument is the Leica MS50; a 1" multistation with scanning capabilities. The MS50 has the latest reflectorless technology allowing data acquisition up to 2000 meters, under ideal conditions of course, but can certainly reach where most equipment cannot.

The MS50 allows for seamless data acquisition options as each survey progresses. During traverse operations, objects or areas can be scanned with real time positioning. No need to register scans later with additional software.

We can scan any portion or your entire excavation for documentation or to be compared to later scans for deformation analysis or layer thickness. Reporting can be tailored to each clients individual requirements including but not limited to: excavation quantities, comparison to predetermined profile/section configurations and volume reporting.

We can use our collected scan data or use previously acquired scan data from third parties to create customized underground reports and/or area maps depicting over/under excavation locations and characteristics.
